Who are we?

STE Languages has been a leading language institute in the Netherlands for 30 years. We offer language training in over 20 languages, individually or in groups, intensively or more gradually, in-company, online, or on location at STE Languages. Our teachers are experienced, qualified, and native speakers. Our courses are highly valued by our clients; in the independent Cedeo survey, STE Languages achieved a score of 96.7% for good to excellent service.

Each year, STE Languages provides language training to approximately 5,000 internationals/expats, newcomers, and labor migrants. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a structured and proactive Management Assistant who supports HR processes and assists the management team (2 people) with administrative and organizational tasks.

What will you do?
As a Management Assistant, you will be a key link within the organization. You ensure that administrative and organizational HR processes run smoothly and support the management team in a variety of tasks.

Your main responsibilities:
- Keep HR systems and personnel records up to date;
- Register sick leave and return-to-work notifications, and liaise with the occupational health service;
- Draft and post job vacancies on job boards and LinkedIn;
- Screen CVs and, in consultation, invite or reject candidates;
- Schedule introductory interviews;
- Draft contracts and framework agreements and submit them to management;
- Process and onboard new employees administratively;
- Arrange VOG certificates and other necessary documents;
- Prepare overviews and reports for management, business, and HR purposes;
- Support management with administrative tasks such as calendars, scheduling, and tracking action items;
- Prepare and take minutes for management team meetings.

What do you bring?
- MBO+/HBO level of education;
- At least 5 years of experience as a management assistant or in a comparable (HR/management support) role;
- Professional and highly effective communication skills;
- Highly structured, organized, and accurate work style;
- Proficient with various systems and able to quickly learn new ones;
- Able to switch between tasks while maintaining an overview;
- Works efficiently and independently within agreed frameworks;
- Organizational sensitivity and ability to handle diverse interests;
- Dutch and English proficiency at minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.
